• This is a temporary fulltime hourly paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is position is not available for remote work.
• Work will be both indoors and outdoors in all weather the office standard work wear will consist of hard hats safety boots safety glasses and ear plugs with other items as needed; these items will be provided
• Location: Aurora North Carolina
• Term 6 months):Dates can be adjusted/extended to coincide with school terms.
  • Fall 2025:June 2to December 19
  • Spring 2026: January 12 to July 24

What you will do:

• Support air water and waste compliance processes including inspections and identification of environmental hazards
• Record keeping and filing organization to support compliance documentation in alignment with internal policies
• Contribute to data collection analysisand validation for internal and external reporting processes
• Assist in development of standard operating procedures to support the plant environmental management processes
• Coordinate an effort to automate environmental field data collection

What you will bring:

• Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 1 year of an undergraduatedegree in Environmental Science/Engineering or equivalent related program at an accredited postsecondary institution AND returning to fulltime studies after the work term.
• Demonstrate positive safety behavior and leadership
• Willingness to learn and gain knowledge and experience through training
• Strong interpersonal teamwork and communication skills
• Motivation to set and achieve goals take initiative and nurture project forward
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must be able to workoutdoors and around potentially hazardous chemicals
• Must be able to hear and understand audible alarms changes in noise levels of rotating equipment and portable radio communications
• Must be familiar with Microsofts Office Suite

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Rate: $23.6227.09 USD per hour. This range is estimated for this position located in Geismar salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

We provide an attractive benefits package that includes catastrophic coverages including life accidental death and dismemberment and business travel accident insurance for a position of at least three months in duration and more than 30 hours per week. Our benefit package also demonstrates our culture of care with paid sick days and holidays as well as an Employee and Family Assistance Program. A Student or Intern role does not participate in any retirement savings or incentive programs. Nutrien will comply with benefit and retirement regulations as necessary. Details of the benefits package will be shared in the application process.
