- Identify prequalify and call on contract and noncontract customers to increase awareness of company service offerings.
- Prepare estimates for contracts and proposals.
- Followup on sales leads and lists both selfgenerated and via other sources.
- Manage multiple opportunities particularly focusing on selling service agreements and new equipment.
- Sell renew and expand renewable service agreements to both new and existing customers.
- Maintain a closing ratio of 70 or higher on generated leads and 50 or higher on marketed leads.
- Always be accessible by phone.
- Demonstrate technical expertise and maintain a high level of credibility.
- Recommend solutions and link customer objectives to total value solution and competitive advantage.
- Positively and credibly influence service strategies with homeowners.
- Effectively develop write and present proposals and contracts for residential service agreements.
- Negotiate value and address resistance to close the sale.
- Maintain a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in related field preferred.
- 3 years of inhome sales experience required.
- Prior success in the HVAC industry with knowledge of industry best practices and local market greatly preferred.
- Previous experience with inhome service agreement estimating and sales preferred.
- Strong needsbased sales and relationship building skills preferred.
- Strong negotiation presentation and influencing skills required.
- Discipline customer focus and passion for excellence required.
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
