Job Description
Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) a member hospital of Dartmouth Health is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Pain Management Physician / Anesthesiologist to join a team of established anesthesiologists pain management specialists and anesthesiologist would be roughly 50/50 Anesthesia/Pain.
Opportunity Highlights
Engaged Anesthesiology / Pain Management team which is highly invested in teamwork and optimal patient outcomes
Manageable anesthesia caseload to include endoscopy general surgery orthopedics obstetrics and urology. No cardiac or trauma cases.
Pain cases to include epidurals radiofrequency ablation neuromodulation bedside procedures; ultrasound and xray guidance. No medication management.
Comprehensive compensation plan to include $545134 salary $50000 signon bonus and $100000 in retention incentives over five years.
Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) through 501 (c)3 nonprofit status
12 weeks of vacation Biannual CME allowance of $6000 and malpractice insurance with tail coverage

Requirements
- Current or eligible for Vermont Medical License
- Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification in Pain Management and Anesthesiology (to be obtained within 5 years)
- Active hospital staff membership
