Job Description
Summary
Great Southern Wood Preserving Inc. producer of YellaWood brand PressureTreated Pine is seeking Lumber Taggers. This is a fulltime position offering competitive pay and a full benefit package.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Loads/unloads materials
- Stacks/moves lumber
- Assists in assembling fence panels and other products using a nail gun
- Attaches product tag labels to merchandise material or product with handheld industrial stapler machine
- Checks items for proper identification
- Reports quality deficiencies shortages and/or damaged goods
- Keeps record of inventory and checks items for proper identification
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Previous production experience preferred
- Lumber experience is a plus!
