Job Description
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and cases performing functional regression integration performance and exploratory testing.
- Identify document and track defects in tools like Jira collaborating with developers and QA peers to resolve issues.
- Work with crossfunctional teams to define requirements and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning standups retrospectives).
- Track quality metrics and provide concise reports on test results coverage and system quality.
- Manage task priorities recommend tradeoffs when needed and contribute to improving QA processes and tools.
Requirements:
- 35 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance preferably on Windows platforms.
- Indepth knowledge of the Windows operating system and proficiency with its tools (e.g. Event Viewer CMD/PowerShell Resource/Performance Monitor).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting (e.g. private vs. public networks NAT firewalls ping tracert IPv4.
- Expertise in manual testing with a strong grasp of testing methodologies including functional regression and performance testing.
- Good at written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies along with tools like Jira.
- Strong analytical mindset and problemsolving abilities.
