Job Description

Overview

Greenhouse isseeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Millwright with strong electromechanical expertise to join our maintenance team. This fulltime position is based at our Mississauga facility and offers the flexibility to work either 1st or 2nd shift. The ideal candidate is a selfstarter with a deep understanding of industrial machinery electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.

This is a fulltime position based out of our Mississauga location within a rapidly growing startup. This is a cool job literallyplease note that you will be working in refrigerated conditions for juice production.Your role will be critical in maintaining and improving the performance of our production equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Time to critical equipment breakdowns (target is response to critical equipment breakdown is <1 hour bring equipment back up running <4hours complete repairs <24 hours)
  • High priority Repairs Work Orders 100 Completion overall 95 completion rate lowmedium priority WO backlog <2 weeks.
  • Target downtime <5 Hours Per Week
  • 100 Document and RecordKeeping Compliance

Statement of Work & Responsibilities:

  • Install maintain troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and electromechanical equipment (most notably rotary/gable top/can fillers ROPP cappers labelers UHTs homogenizers various pumps depalletizers high speed doors)
  • Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics including reading schematics and troubleshooting control panels
  • Ensure machinery operates at peak performance by performing preventive maintenance.
  • Modify fabricate and upgrade machinery components as needed.
  • Inspect and identify malfunctions in mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to track and document maintenance activities.
  • Maintain an organized and clean maintenance area.
  • Maintain accurate inventory management of spare parts
  • Provide recommendations for equipment improvements and efficiency enhancements.
  • Adhere to workplace safety policies and food safety standards (HACCP compliance).
  • Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
  • Be available for occasional weekend/evening work and emergency repairs.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a food and/or beverage manufacturing environment is a strong asset
  • Certified Industrial Millwright 433A) or equivalent experience.
  • Electrical License 442A) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong electromechanical skills including knowledge of electric motor controls PLCs wiring circuits and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficiency in mechanical maintenance including pneumatics
  • Experience with industrial automation and robotics is an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings.
  • Solid understanding of workplace safety and compliance regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving abilities.
  • Scissor lift and forklift certification are assets.

Health & Safety:

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Wear proper PPE and comply with safety requirements
  • Ability to work in a cold and refrigerated environment
