Qualifications
Education: Minimum of Bachelors degree inbehavior analysis or a related field Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification preferred

Responsibilities
Indirect Contact with Students - Consult daily/weekly with Administration/teachers and various programs (BEST Team Reset Restore etc. in District
- Conduct Behavior Assessments
- Multiple observations
- Rating scales
- teacher/parent interviews
- Develop Behavior Intervention Plans
- Baseline data
- Conduct preference assessments
- Develop intervention and data collection procedures
- Instruct model and coach staff in procedures
- Instruct and coach staff in data collection procedures
- Supervise implementation of behavior plans
- Monitor Effectiveness of Interventions
- Input and analyze data
- staff/parent interviews
- Present behavioral data to staff at monthly consults
- Attend parent meetings roundtables success teams DTMs and potentially IEP meetings as need to discuss behavioral needs
- Potentially assist in the development of IEP goals and progress report progress
- Collaborate with medical professionals as needed
- Collaborate with teachers regarding academic programming
- Collaborate with building level administrators regarding discipline
- Training in CPI and/or SCM/safety plan implementation
- Development of needed materials for behavior/academic accommodations/modifications intervention
| Direct Contact with Students - On site staff training/coaching with Behavior Skills Training (BST)
- Conduct reinforcement inventories
- Analysis of hypotheses and/or when gathering baseline data
- Intervene during crisis procedures as necessary
Administrative Duties - Monitor implementation and fidelity to behavior intervention plans which includes delivering prompt feedback
- Develop and conduct staff training specific to behavior/emotional/social skills of students
- Assist in other duties as assigned
Teacher Consultation - Student specific consultation
- Classroom management
- Informal classroom observations and recommendations
- Assist in data collection
- Provide professional development in the form of presentations handouts book studies etc.
- Model strategies and interventions for staff
Miscellaneous - Adhere strictly to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts
- Obtain 32 hours of approved continued education units for every 2 years in order to remain certified and licensed
- Other duties as assigned
