Job Description
Hours of Operation: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 6:00 PM
As the AfterSchool Teacher you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of our program. Your responsibilities will include:
- Program planning implementation and evaluation.
- Supervising and supporting afterschool staff including instructors and support personnel.
- Ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborating with school personnel parents and guardians to maintain open communication and address any concerns.
- Developing and leading engaging enrichment activities that align with our programs goals and curriculum.
- Providing academic support and homework assistance to students as needed.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as attendance tracking recordkeeping and reporting.
- Contributing to the creation of a positive and motivating atmosphere that fosters students personal and social development.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in an afterschool program educational setting or youth development.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic administrative tasks.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
