As the Purchasing Intern you will gain handson experience supporting key purchasing and quality initiatives with opportunities to collaborate across departments including Engineering Quality and Materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with identifying and coordinating costsaving initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Support the Purchasing and Quality teams as well as internal stakeholders by providing data analysis documentation and process updates.
- Maintain and update costtracking summaries; ensure accurate communication with relevant team members.
- Conduct audits of purchase orders (back details and communication)
- Help maintain compliance documents within the purchasing master list.
- Coordinate sample parts with the Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
- Support engineering change processes and engineeringtoorder activities.
- Collaborate with the Materials team on ongoing and upcoming projects.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or a recent graduate pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Operations or a related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills required
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on communication collaboration and active listening
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fastpaced environment
