You are responsible for global mid and longterm demand planning for dedicated product groups within GT.
You work closely together with global and regional portfolio experts from all 6 sales regions as well as segment owners responsible for your product segment to derive a proper mid and longterm demand planning.
You are also responsible for midterm capacity planning together with our production plants as well as buyout suppliers.
You are first contact in terms of midterm capacity restriction or excess capacities in plants / at buyout suppliers and support in case of nonFG bottleneck situations to define the best allocation of resources to future market demands.
You actively contribute to the decisionmaking process in case of FG bottleneck situations regarding preproduction of future demands or increasing production capacities (e.g. overtime)
You actively support plants in production allocation in case of FG bottleneck situations
You support the overall S&OP process regarding midterm demand and supply planning and lead the supply validation planning process within the S&OP process
Youre responsible to track the implementation of the optimal FG material flow for new launches
Education: Successful completed Bachelors/Masters degree in business logistics supply chain management or comparable
Experience: Several years operational working experience in demand planning and/or production planning (in fast moving consumer goods sector is advantageous). Deep understanding of Supply Chain Planning processes. PTspecific supply chain and/or product knowhow is also an advantage.
Personality: Strong communication skills. Intercultural competence (incl. working in international teams). Good team player but also working independently within own area of responsibility and willing to take decisions.
Qualification: Strong comprehension and analytical skills. Solution and result oriented working approach.
