Director Financial Reporting

Position Summary

Reporting to the Head of Finance the Director of Finance will play a pivotal role professionalizing and enhancing the finance operations at Kii Health. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated finance leader that thrives in a fastpaced growth environment. The candidate must be comfortable working with all levels of management and have strong communication skills analytical skills and be detailoriented.The Director Financial Reporting will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the companys financial reporting and FP&A processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Workin partnership with Head of Finance and the Finance team in the preparation of Annual financial statements
• Assist in providing oversight of the finance function including financial reporting revenue recognition accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly quarterly and annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
• Continue to evolve our financial processes and finance department to account for previous acquisitions and organizational changes
• Ensure proper corporate accounting policies and procedures are in place and in accordance with ASPE standards and other rules and regulations
• Meet with business leaders to work through the financial planning forecasting and budgeting process
• Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to ensure the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations and to ensure alignment between cash flow forecasts and actual cash positions
• Work in partnership with the business to track performance and identify opportunities to enhance performance
• Work in partnership with the Head of Finance and Finance Managers as one of the key points of contact with Kii Healths external auditors to manage the annual audit process
• Preparation and analysis of presentation materials for meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Work with tax consultants to ensure compliance with Canadian and US sales tax and corporate tax requirements
• Assist in the consolidated ERP implementation process to Microsoft Business Central
• Monitor and track compliance with debt covenants ensuring that all requirements are met to avoid breaches

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong accounting background with 8 years of finance experience
• CPA designation required
• Previous experience with a Big 4 Accounting Firm preferred
• Indepth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and specifically Account Standards for Private Enterprises
• Previous experience in a healthcare or technology driven organization preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to present to the senior leadership team investors and other stakeholders
• Excels working in a fastpaced dynamic entrepreneurial environment
• Proactive and creative. Unafraid to bring new ideas to the table balanced with willingness to rollup sleeves
• Aligned with the values of the business; understands the positive impact Kii Health provides to the end user

More about our hybrid expectations this role will require presence in our Markham ON office for up to 4 days a week.
