Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently certified or eligible to be certified as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) required.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $43890 $71320 / year.

Job Description:
To plan direct administer and evaluate programs of therapy as prescribed by the referring physician and as evidenced by the patient s needs. To maintain records and assist with program development.
Preferred Qualities:
Seeking a Certified Recreation Therapist with experience working in a gym environment. Experience in a psychiatric environment strongly recommended. The position will primarily be based in the Center for Psychiatric Medicine gym interacting with and facilitating groups focusing on team building and physical energy outlet for the adult and adolescent population may also involve leading groups on nursing units.
