Our client a global pharmaceutical and chemical company with over 100000 employees worldwide and optimal working conditions is looking for a Laboratory Technician to work in their Bioassays & CGTAnalytics Department at their facilities in Elberfeld Germany under an 18month fixedterm leasing contract. (AN). The desired start date is 01 June 2025. The contract runs until the end of November 2026. Our client is a global pharmaceutical and chemical company with over 100000 employees worldwide with optimal working conditions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development optimization standardization and routine of flow cytometry based and functional cellbased assays
- Planning documentation and evaluation of experiments
- Handling and maintenance of complex automation flow cytometry and microscopy devices
- Writing of SOPs and other documents
- Support internal and external customers / functions
- Contribution to the development of biologics and cell therapies
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Scientific technical training (e.g. BTA Bachelors Masters degree PhD) in cell biology or related life science fields
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of cellular biology is essential
- Extensive practical experience with advanced cell culture techniques and flow cytometry is essential
- Experience with fluorescence microscopy and automated set ups is advantageous
- At least 12 years of working experience in implementation and evaluation of flow cytometry assays to characterize cell therapy products
- Strong reliability and sense of responsibility
- Very good communication skills and a strong analytical mindset
- Enjoy working in a team in a fast evolving and challenging environment
- Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and foster open dialogue and teamwork
- Good knowledge of German and/or English
Additional information:
Working hours Monday Friday between 06:30 15:30 7.5 hrs/day
