IT Support Technician Apprentice
Location: Ellesmere Port
Are you passionate about IT and looking for an exciting opportunity to build your career in a supportive dynamic environment Bagnalls with over 150 years of industry expertise is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Technician Apprentice to join our friendly and supportive team based at our North West Office in Ellesmere Port.

The Role:
As an IT Support Technician Apprentice youll have the chance to gain handson experience while working alongside industry professionals. Youll be responsible for providing firstline IT support assisting with hardware and software configurations and ensuring smooth IT operations across the business. As part of your apprenticeship youll undertake an Information Communications Technical Level 3 course with full training and support provided.
Your Responsibilities:
IT Support
- Provide firstline IT support and escalate issues when necessary
- Monitor prioritise and log support tickets
- Offer remote assistance to users when required
- Handle hardware faults and provide solutions
Hardware Support
- Set up and configure loan equipment desk phones smartphones printers and other ICT devices
- Manage asset tracking for all hardware across the business
Software Support
- Ensure the smooth operation of Microsoft 365 and other businesscritical software
- Support additional software as required by the business
Branch Support
- Install and troubleshoot new equipment at branches
- Resolve branch IT issues remotely or onsite
ICT Projects & Documentation
- Assist with ICT projects across the business
- Maintain uptodate IT documentation
What Were Looking For:
Were looking for a dedicated and eagertolearn individual who is excited about starting a career in IT. The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong interest in IT and technology
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive attitude with a proactive approach to learning
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A Level 4 or equivalent in GCSE Maths & English
