Job Description
Position Summary(Basic Job Function)
This is a temporary or an oncall position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business science medical agricultural or other professional support functions. Term: Temps can work two 2 nine 9 month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three 3 months or switch to an oncall. OnCall allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve 12 month period.
Unit Position Summary
OVERVIEW: Spartan Vision is looking for a fulltime video production intern to work on the front lines expanding the coverage of our Big Ten studentathletes coaches and affiliates.
You will produce video content for web and social media and features for our docuseries Spartans AllAccess as well as other series.
We anticipate that the right person will bring exciting ideas an eagerness to learn an attention to detail and a passionate work ethic. In return you can travel with teams learn new skills and leave with an incredible reel.
COMPENSATION: Paid Ninemonth hourly contract 40 hours a week); in addition to office hours would also include some nights weekends and holidays. Some team travel will be required.
START DATE: You will begin in July/August.
Desired Qualifications
We ask for a completed bachelors degree with experience filming and editing narrative content as well as shortform social media content; experience with sports and editorial; excellent communication skills; video equipment and lighting skills; you should be able to handle multiple tasks with ease. You should demonstrate good judgment and discretion with sensitive information regarding studentathletes university staff and the Athletic Department. We are PC and Sonybased and utilize Adobe Creative Cloud Sidearm and WSC; previous experience with these programs is preferred.
