Job Description
Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanesis seeking Group Coordinators (Level C) to join the Flight Line Team to support the Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO Team) working at the Delivery Center in North Charleston South Carolina on a Variable shift!
Primary Responsibilities:
Creates culture that enhances productivity safety and a teaming environment.
Works crossfunctionally to identify opportunities for improvement.
Ensure Loto book kit and loto equipment are used correctly and inventoried.
Coordinates with Lead/Manager on and critical path of production build requirement.
Supervising Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)
Review current LOTOs
Coordinating hazardous energy work
Hand off or endofshift activities
Abnormal circumstance responses
Verifies Aircraft power can be safely provided to the airplane.
Inventory LOTO Kits Pre and Post shift
Sign into all LOTOs.
Remove any LOTOs from the book as required
The GC meets with the work team to evaluate where hazardous energy is to be introduced
Coordinating with Flightline Test SMEs and MEs
If work continues coordinate handoff with the next GC.
If work shuts down coordinate preparation for power shut down.
Review status of personnel and airplane system configuration.
Transfer LOTOs to the incoming GCs.
Sign out of all open Control Log Sheets (X35681
Verifies all mechanics are signed out of active LOTOs.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Ability to work a variable shift.
5 years experience within aerospace fabrication or manufacturing.
3 years experience in advising and influencing others to meet quality and safety requirements or resolve technical or operational problems.
3 years experience with Systematic Problem Solving and Standardized Work.
3 years experience with Field Operations/Aircraft Systems/LOTO.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with Boeing Production System (BPS) concepts.
Experience in a team environment.
Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.

This position is for a variable shift (shift 4. Variable shift means you will be placed on a shift at the time of hire based on business needs at that time. You will remain on that shift until reevaluation is need.
