You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Video Production Specialist is responsible for creating and editing video content to produce high quality videos for use on YouTube and other social media platforms email the IRA Financial website and more. This position involves working closely with the company founder and other team members to ensure that the final product meets creative and technical standards. The role will be a hybrid format with one day per week on site in our South Beach office for filming and working from home the remaining days.

Responsibilities & Duties
Film review and organize raw video footage to select the best takes and scenes.
Ensure that footage aligns with the projects objectives requirements and scripts.
Utilizing editing software to create a coherent and engaging narrative.
Incorporate graphics titles transitions and effects to enhance the visual appeal and storytelling.
Edit and synchronize audio tracks including dialogue music and sound effects.
Ensure audio quality is clear balanced and free of background noise.
Work closely with internal teams to understand the projects vision and make necessary revisions.
Incorporate feedback and adjust to meet stakeholder expectations.
Ensure the final video product meets technical specifications including resolution aspect ratio and color grading.
Conduct thorough reviews to check for and correct any errors or inconsistencies.
Organize and manage video files including maintaining backups and archiving completed projects.
Ensure proper file naming and organization for efficient workflow and retrieval.
Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously adhering to deadlines and project schedules.
Assist with the setup maintenance and troubleshooting of video editing equipment and software.
Stay updated on industry trends editing techniques and new technologies.
Apply new techniques and tools to improve the quality and efficiency of video editing.
Other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelors degree in film production media studies communications or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Previous experience with video editing software tools and Microsoft Office Suite products.
Strong understanding of video production techniques including color correction audio mixing and motion graphics.
Experience in producing video content for a business ideally targeting a mature affluent audience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative and innovative with a passion for video production.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
Adaptable and willing to learn and incorporate new techniques and technologies.
