Job Description

The Facilities Technician will be responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of assigned buildings ensuring that all facilities remain safe secure and operational. This handson role involves performing a wide variety of tasks including preventative maintenance basic repairs and support services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the facility to ensure it remains safe secure clean and wellmaintained.

  • Perform general maintenance tasks including carpentry drywall repair patching and painting.

  • Conduct basic plumbing repairs and preventive maintenance on building systems.

  • Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed.

  • Move and set up office furniture equipment and other materials.

  • Coordinate and oversee vendor services as needed.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • 2 4 years of relevant experience in facility maintenance or a similar field.

  • Strong plumbing skills and proficiency in drywall repair patching and painting.

  • Basic knowledge of machines tools and maintenance best practices.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong attention to detail problemsolving abilities and solid interpersonal skills.


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in commercial or industrial facility settings.

  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance schedules and vendor management.
