Job Description
The Facilities Technician will be responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of assigned buildings ensuring that all facilities remain safe secure and operational. This handson role involves performing a wide variety of tasks including preventative maintenance basic repairs and support services.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor the facility to ensure it remains safe secure clean and wellmaintained.

Perform general maintenance tasks including carpentry drywall repair patching and painting.

Conduct basic plumbing repairs and preventive maintenance on building systems.

Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed.

Move and set up office furniture equipment and other materials.

Coordinate and oversee vendor services as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

2 4 years of relevant experience in facility maintenance or a similar field.

Strong plumbing skills and proficiency in drywall repair patching and painting.

Basic knowledge of machines tools and maintenance best practices.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail problemsolving abilities and solid interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience:
-
Experience working in commercial or industrial facility settings.

Familiarity with preventative maintenance schedules and vendor management.
