Position Overview
McCallie Associates Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Alutiiq LLC has an exciting opportunity for an Automation Engineer SME who will implement automation solutions by translating designs from Senior DevOps Engineers into functional scripts tools and workflows; create and maintain frameworks for testing deployment and system monitoring to streamline processes and enhance efficiency; collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify automation opportunities and ensure seamless integration into existing systems; troubleshoot and optimize automation processes to improve reliability scalability and performance.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Automate Implementation: Translate designs into functional automation scripts tools and workflows.
- Framework Development: Create and maintain frameworks for automated testing deployment (CI/CD) and system monitoring.
- CrossTeam Collaboration: Work with development operations and other teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
- Process Improvement: Analyze troubleshoot and optimize automation processes for better reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Proficiency in languages like Python or Bash.
- Experience with tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Understanding and experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of system monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana).
- Strong communication and troubleshooting abilities.
- 14 Years Experience
- Ability to gain and retain Top Secret Clearance.
Pay range:$140000 to $170000 per year
