Job Description

Are you ready to bring your product management and sales skills to a team that values precision and innovation At Martin Sprocket & Gear were dedicated to producing quality mechanical power transmission components material handling systems and custom forgings with excellence and were looking for skilled Technical Sales Material Handling Specialistslike you!

What Youll Do:
  • Sales & Account Management: Drive Material Handling Sales with Key Accounts OEM and EPC customers.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Strategic Accounts to secure Martin Material Handling product specifications.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Collaborate with Martin Field Sales Marketing and regional operations to increase awareness of Strategic Accounts preferred OEMs.
  • Business Development: Identify and drive Material Handling CAPEX opportunities with strategic accounts and direct sales.
  • Product Positioning: Work with OEM/EPC customers to secure First Fit specification opportunities positioning MSG products for longterm aftermarket success.
  • Growth Opportunities: Develop new business opportunities and expand product offerings within the OEM/EPC customer base.
  • Product Management Support: Partner with Martin Product Management to identify and capitalize on product and application growth opportunities.
  • Industry Engagement: Engage in industry discussions product training and sales presentations at internal regional and national events.
  • Strategic Input: Contribute to the Martin Material Handling Specialist Team by sharing insights and strategies for key account management.
      What Youll Bring:
      • Education & Expertise: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or a Business degree with strong mechanical aptitude.
      • Sales & Business Acumen: Proven ability to drive sales develop strategic partnerships and grow key accounts.
      • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of material handling applications and industry trends.
      • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal teams and external partners.
      • ProblemSolving & Initiative: Selfmotivated with the ability to assess situations make informed decisions and drive results.
      • CustomerFocused Mindset: Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to Martins commitment to excellence.
      • Flexibility & Travel: Willingness to travel extensively as required for customer engagement and industry events.
