STARTING WAGE: $17.93$18.65

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Related experience
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and Board may find appropriate
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to work effectively with others
• Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
• Practical active listening skills
• Organizational and problemsolving skills
• Knowledge of heating and cooling systems
• Knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
• Knowledge of safety procedures
• Training in the proper care and storage of chemicals e.g. OSHA/PERRAC training
• Ability to read written instructions warnings and labels and understand verbal directions
• Mechanically inclined with an attitude to do minor repairs evaluate and access mechanical concerns and report the problems to the Head Custodian for further evaluation
• Acceptance of building use and the need for flexibility in cleaning schedules
