Job Description

Our Opportunity

Adjunct faculty salary for thefiscal year is $1131.00 $1154.00 per credit hour as listed in theCBA (Download PDF reader).

South Puget Sound Community Collegeseeks candidates for a 13credit parttime/adjunct positionteaching evening courses in the Automotive Department. This position is effective September1 2025and is renewed quarterly depending on enrollment and demand.

These positions are expected to have 20 hours of student contactfacing teaching hours per week.

The instructor should be able to teach and guide students in the diagnosis and repair of passenger cars and light trucks in both lecture and lab settings.As a reminderthe teaching assignments will be in the early afternoon or evening hours.This recruitment is open to all applicants who meet the minimum qualifications stated below. Applications received by the closing date will be used to create an applicant pool that may be used to fill similar vacancies at the College which may occur over the next 69 months.
