Job Description
Arundel Court Primary Academy and Nursery Portsmouth
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant
32 hours and 5 minutes per week 8.30am to 3.40pm daily) 43.53 weeks per annum term time only 38 weeks per annum). Fixed term contract until 31 August 2025
Salary Range Trust Grade 2 pointto 24790
(Actual starting salary 17180.27
You will be required to support the development of pupilsteaching and learning and their physical and mental wellbeing on a onetoone or in a small group basis. As part of a team you will help to encourage and develop independent learning promoting excellent behaviours and creating avibrant happy and exciting learning environment enabling our children to achieve their best. With a good knowledge and understanding of how to support learning for children and building effective relationships with children staff and parents you will assist in providing awide range of activities and learning activities. Ensuring a safe environment you will prepare and clear away materials and resources as required. With good interpersonal and communication skills you will be organised flexible and have the presence to inspire confidence and trust so as to develop and nurture intimate care with children may be needed. Previous experience is essential.
