Overview

As a Solution Engineer youre a natural at identifying the right analysis tools for the problem at hand. Not only do you create innovative solutions you also talk about solutions in ways that get others excited about the power of GIS technology. Leverage your problemsolving skills to demonstrate the value of GIS and how it finds unique patterns trends and understanding.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships. Present demonstrate and support selling Esri software and solutions as part of the account team. Support your team as you help plan and execute sales strategies.
- Be an expert. Become a technical expert on Esris Indoor GIS system for the future of smart buildings. Speak confidently with customers about Esri technologies and thoroughly communicate the Esri message. Be a visionary for your customers anticipating their needs and the technology trends that may impact them.
- Solve problems. Proactively craftand propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value toour customers by addressing the critical challenges they face. Define and deliver strategies to customers that align Esri technology with theirbusiness.
- Tell our story. Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to various levels of staff in a diverse range of customer organizations. Provide best practices related to the use deployment and administration of Esri technology. Present at conferences and trade shows. Successfully design presentations for technical and nontechnical customers.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience with Esri technology creating mapsperforming spatial analysis and configuring web applications
- 1 years of experience in various industries
- Understanding of ArcGIS from an IT context (such as hardware storage security networking web services virtualization cloud computing)
- Experience intechnical consulting and conceptual solution design as well as an understanding of sales and business development processes
- Experience withgeodatabases and underlying DBMS technology
- Knowledge ofcloud computing concepts and environments (Microsoft Azure or AWS)
- Remarkable presentation interpersonal and listening skills
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 2550
- Bachelors in GIS planning landscape architecture or a related field

Recommended Qualifications
- Ability to troubleshoot client issues related to Esri application deployment andsystem architecture
- Experienceintegrating software solutions with other business systems including datawarehousing BI CRM ERP and analytics platforms
- Experience incorporating realtime information streams with existing GIS data and IT infrastructure
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence/machine learning concepts
- Programming and scripting experience with languages such as Python and JavaScript
- Masters in GIS planning landscape architecture or a related field
- Strong interest/background in facility design asset management planning or operations as well as 3D GIS BIM and CAD
