The Northwest Career and Technical Center (NCTC) in St. Albans is seeking a Culinary Arts Instructor for high school students. The Culinary Arts Teacher provides handson instruction in culinary techniques food safety fundamentals of food service nutrition and management. This role involves delivering a curriculum aligned with industry standards preparing students for postsecondary education or careers in the culinary field and supporting their attainment of industryrecognized certifications such as ServSafe. The teacher will also collaborate with the local community to provide realworld learning opportunities ensuring students graduate careerready and confident in their abilities in the culinary arts and/or Experience: A minimum of four years equivalent work experience. Associate degree preferred. Certificates licenses Registrations: Valid Vermont Teaching License with appropriate endorsement for academic assignment and/or level of assignment. The Vermont Teaching License can be earned synchronously while working. Certified in ServSafe and willingness to become a ServSafe proctor.
