UAB Spain Rehabilitation Center is opening an 11story stateoftheart inpatient rehabilitation pavilion in spring 2025. The new hospital will include 78 rehabilitation beds and the latest technology all designed to promote functional activity at every turn. Our team of highly skilled therapists practice in a collaborative fastpaced environment providing comprehensive evidencebased care thats focused on each patient and their road to recovery. We support professional clinical development by empowering our clinicians through mentorship and other growth opportunities that elevate our standard of care. Job Description:
To evaluate plan direct and administer prescribed occupational therapy treatments to assist patients to improve or restore their maximum functional level.
Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed eligible to be licensed or practicing under a limited permit as an Occupational Therapist (OT) according to the rules and regulations of the Alabama State Board of Occupational Therapy required. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
