Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customerfocused Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in Co. Louth Ireland. As a Sales Assistant you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service driving sales and maintaining a welcoming store environment.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their enquiries and purchases
- Provide expert product knowledge and advice to help customers make informed decisions
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a tidy and wellorganised sales floor ensuring products are properly displayed and stocked
- Assist with receiving unpacking and storing merchandise in both the warehouse and sales floor
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high customer satisfaction levels
- Participate in regular stock takes and inventory management tasks
- Adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Ability to work flexibly including evenings and weekends as required
- Physical capability to handle merchandise and stand for extended periods
- Basic numeracy skills for processing transactions and managing stock levels
- Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain a tidy work environment
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
- Initiative to identify and resolve issues independently
- Enthusiasm for sales and ability to meet targets
- Previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided
