Laboratory Biller
Port Jefferson NY
Hours: MF 8am5pm)

In this role you will:
- Assign appropriate diagnosis codes and procedure codes to ensure accurate billing.
- Verify and update patient insurance information.
- Collaborate closely with laboratory staff and administration regarding billing related issues.
- Monitor daily billing reports.
- Create and export information on an excel spreadsheet.
- Interact in a positive manner with supervisors managers and coworkers.
- Understand and observe all confidentiality and HIPPA regulations.
- Navigate and perform tasks on Labdaq and ONCO EMR.
We require:
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets ICD Codes Medical Terminology problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in billing (preferred)

Salary: Starting at $22.54/hr based on years of experience
