Our client is a leading fintech company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
Project Management
Guide the team in iterative project ensuring smooth development and timely delivery.
Establish and oversee project processes to maintain efficiency and compliance.
Actively monitor and assess progress flag potential risks or delays early and maintain transparent communication to manage delivery expectations.
Analyze and refine project requirements converting them into detailed functional specifications.
Work closely with the Company s Group and other stakeholders to gather document and validate requirements user stories development estimates and timelines.
Define and uphold clear standards and workflows to maintain quality across tasks and documentation.
Team and Department Leadership
Manage a dynamic team of 30 skilled engineers.
Oversee multiple engineering teams and departments fostering collaboration and seamless coordination.
Set clear expectations provide direction and support teams in achieving their goals.
Cultivate a highperformance culture focused on innovation accountability and continuous improvement.
Engineering Development
Attract grow and retain top engineering talent to strengthen team capabilities.
Offer mentorship and professional development opportunities to support career growth.
Lead training programs to enhance technical capabilities and expertise across the team.
Set a longterm vision and development roadmap for the engineering function aligned with business strategy.
Strategic
Ensure engineering activities are aligned with the Companys broader strategic direction.
Design and implement engineering strategies that promote product innovation and successful project outcomes.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless project and alignment across departments.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with internal teams including product managers and business leaders to align engineering efforts with business needs.
Provide regular updates on project progress risks and opportunities maintaining clear and proactive communication.
Operational Excellence
Introduce and refine engineering processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Enhance the engineer experience by optimizing the technical hiring process and onboarding programs.
Promote the adoption of industry best practices and standards within the engineering function.
Assess performance metrics to ensure timely and effective project completion.
Requirements
Degree in Information Technology Software Engineering or Information Systems.
10 years of experience in managing webbased projects or product development.
4 years of experience in team leadership and stakeholder engagement.
Proven ability to manage engineering teams (direct or indirect) with 20 members.
High adaptability to complex and rapidly changing environments with a strategic mindset to guide the organization through change.
Commitment to inclusive leadership encouraging diverse viewpoints and a collaborative culture.
Strong networking and relationshipbuilding skills to drive collaboration.
Expertise in risk mitigation strategies for highimpact initiatives.
Strategic thinker capable of aligning engineering efforts with overall business objectives.
Strong English proficiency.
Prior experience in senior engineering leadership roles such as Department Manager VP of Engineering Head of Delivery or CTO ideally within IT companies is a plus.
Possession of professional certifications in project or agile management (e.g. PMP PgMP CSM PMIACP) is preferred.
Familiarity with building or managing B2B (BusinesstoBusiness) applications is a plus.
Fluency in Japanese (N1/N2 is highly desirable.

Hybrid work arrangement: 2 days working onsite 3 days remote.
100 salary during probation period.
