Job Description
Location: Rochester NY 14621
Weekly Pay: $2680 $2960
Shift: Day/Evening Rotation 40 Hours Guaranteed
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology (IR) to provide exceptional care during interventional procedures. This role involves pre intra and postprocedure patient care assisting with neurointerventional and other IR procedures and ensuring patient safety during sedation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver highquality nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
- Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients responses.
- Support neurointerventional and other IR procedures as needed.
- Monitor vital signs administer medications and respond to emergencies.
- Collaborate with radiologists anesthesiologists and the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families about procedures and postcare instructions.
- Adhere to all facility policies safety standards and protocols.
- Floating to other units may be required based on facility needs.
- Active RN license (New York or Compact).
- 12 years of IR nursing experience (including Neurointerventional procedures).
- AHA BLS & ACLS
- Moderate Sedation Certification
- Experience with imagingguided procedures.
- Candidates outside a 75mile radius qualify for travel pay
