Transport Coordinator (Nights Only)
Location: Dover Kent
Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00pm 8:00am
Salary: 37000 per annum
PSM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator who is looking for night work. Youll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the night operations making sure deliveries and collections are scheduled and completed on time. Working closely with drivers and the wider transport team helping maintain high service standards and keep things moving through the night.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and organising driver routes and schedules
- Monitoring vehicle movements and updating systems in realtime
- Dealing with any issues or delays as they arise
- Communicating with drivers customers and other depots
- Ensuring compliance with transport regulations and company procedures
- Completing relevant paperwork and reports
Experience:
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics coordination role
- Strong knowledge of transport regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions
- IT literate with experience using transport management systems
