Job Description
Title:
MBSE Systems EngineerKBR is seeking a Systems Engineer to support ModelBased Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts for an Intelligence Community customer.
Responsibilities:
- Develop descriptive MBSE models supporting system of systems (SoS) architectures.
- Support the creation of modeling standards and modeling patterns for logical mission and system definition enterpriselevel concepts of operation and endtoend requirement tracing
- Perform analysis of alternative evaluations of mission/SoS architectures
- Implement MBSE model simulations and GOTS/COTS tool integrations for architecture assessments
- Create approaches to support an enterpriselevel federated modeling workspace with multiple stakeholders
- Trace related architecture and analysis models to enterprise tools requests for change engineering review board assessments risks schedule adjustments and verification validation & test (VV&T)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in the STEM field
- Systems Engineering experience with ModelBased Systems Engineering applications and technology
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with the System Modeling Language (SysML)
- OMGCertified Systems Modeling Professional certification level 2 or higher; or demonstrated commensurate level of knowledge
- ObjectOriented Design and Analysis experience either in system model development or programming language
- Experience with MBSE tool suites (Cameo SparxEA Rhapsody etc.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
- Experience developing/integrating enterprise level architectures and associated requirements
- Experience with the development of executable UML/SysML/UAF models
- Familiarity with DoD and/or IC
