Job Description
Your mission:
As a Data Scientist in our Strategic Development team you will:
- Design develop and implement machine learning models for renewable energy forecasting and performance optimization
- Lead initiatives to improve our machine learning simulation systems and replace legacy components with modern ML frameworks
- Develop innovative approaches for anomaly detection soiling detection and predictive maintenance in renewable energy systems
- Research and implement advanced time series forecasting techniques to improve forecast quality and accuracy
- Create solutions for loss breakdowns andcomponenthealth assessment toidentifyunderperforming elements
- Develop methodologies for automatic NWP(Numerical Weather Prediction)model selection and dynamic settings for physical simulations
- Integrate weather pattern analysis with asset performance to enhance maintenance scheduling
- Support the development of a centralized data analytics platform for internal and customer use
- Collaborate with software engineers to deploy models to production and ensure code quality
- Optimizemachine learning workflows for better computational efficiency and scalability
- Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge through code reviews and knowledge transfer sessions
- Establish best practices and documentation for data science workflows.
Your profile:
- Masters or PhD in Data Science Computer Science MathematicsPhysicsor related field
- 2 years of professional experience applying machine learning to realworld problems
- Proventrack recordin developing and deploying machine learning models
- Strongexpertisein time series forecasting and anomaly detection
- Experience with Python and major ML frameworks (TensorFlowPyTorch scikitlearn)
- Knowledge ofMLOpspractices and model deployment
- Understanding of software development best practices
- Experience with cloudbased data processing and analytics
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- Fluent English skills (mandatory) German is a plus but not.
- Primary: Python ecosystem with data science and ML libraries (pandasnumpy scikitlearn)
- Advanced ML: TensorFlowPyTorch time series analysis tools
- Data Processing: Apache AirflowFastAPI
- Databases:ClickHouse MySQL timeseries databases
- Infrastructure: Docker Kubernetes Git CI/CD inhouse server infrastructure AWS
- Visualization: Data visualization libraries and dashboard tools (matplotlibplotly.
