Job Description
Now Hiring: Shear Operator
Location: Rogers MN
Shift: 5:00am 3:30pm Monday Thursday potential overtime on Fridays
Pay: $24.00/hr
Employment Type: Full time trial to hire!
About this Opportunity:
Atlas Staffing has partnered with a growing specialized metal fabrication shop dedicated to precision and quality in architectural metalwork. They pride their selves on innovation custom craftsmanship and delivering exceptional results for their clients. Our client is looking for an experienced and dedicated Shear Operator to join their team of precision metal fabricators.
What Youll Be Doing:
Set up and operates power shear to cut material
perform blade changes on hydraulic shear machine
Perform QA protocol by inspecting parts with precision measuring tools
preform daily maintenance on machinery
Observe safety procedures assure sage self and others safety and report any safety issues
Read analyze and understand blueprints
lifting up to 50lbs
What makes you a great fit:
3 years of experience with the layout and operation in machine shop
Proven programming experience..
Energetic dependable and capable of working at a fast pace.
Must be able to program machines
