Job Description
RPO Recruitments client renowned and well established multidisciplinary contractor in South Africa is currently seeking to employ an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor who can join their team in Johannesburg and get involved in some of their largescale building projects in and around Gauteng province.
Requirements:
- BTech or BSc degree in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar capacity working for wellestablished building contractors
- Must have experience in cost planning estimating/preparing tender and contract documents including BOQs cost analysis Costinuse Studies Value Management preparing and reviewing of valuations for monthly claims via measuring from drawings and onsite measuring reviewing and finalising final accounts etc.
- Familiar with contractual claims
- Good analytical and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently
