Position: Web Developer III
Work Schedule: Onsite 23 days
Contract Type: Contract to Hire

Position Overview:As a Web Developer III you will be an integral part of our development team responsible for the design development testing and deployment of webbased applications in the financial domain focusing on areas such as Payroll AR and Accounting. The role requires expertise in Java development familiarity with various frameworks and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements analyze code and test webbased applications.
- Develop and maintain web applications utilizing Java J2EE Struts Spring Framework and other relevant technologies.
- Implement security measures for web applications and web services.
- Collaborate with team members and work independently to offer solutions for improving application performance and functionality.
- Participate in the migration of Javabased projects and ensure the integration of new technologies.
- Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Maintain effective communication and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of IT experience with 5 years in J2EE development implementing web applications (Oracle 10g or higher as database).
- Strong expertise in frameworks like Struts 1.x Spring Framework JBoss Application Server ANT scripting Maven and reporting tools such as Jasper Reports.
- Proficiency in Java scripting XML technologies and implementing SOAP and RESTful web services.
- Experience with version control tools like CVS and GIT UNIX shell scripting JUnit and SUN Solaris.
- Preferred: Familiarity with JBoss Drools rule engine microservices architecture design patterns caching technologies Angular JS jQuery EAP 7.X performance tuning and continuous integration/continuous delivery using Jenkins.
- Business background in Financials area (Payroll AR Accounting) is a plus.
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering or relevant field preferred.
