What you will do:
Mow and maintains the Companys pipeline rightofway for transmission lines and cross country distribution lines in order to ensure adequate access is preserved.
Inspect road crossings and transmission valves performs leak surveys and patrols the cross country rightofway in order to remain in compliance with federal/state laws and regulations.
Maintain station appearance and the integrity of the pipe by painting spraying herbicide and mowing.
Locate underground transmission facilities for parties encroaching upon the rightsofway completing required documentation and repairing and maintaining equipment used including truck backhoe bush hog dump truck welder sandblaster painting equipment and air compressor. Inspects operates and maintains block valves as scheduled.
Who you are:
You have the following education and/or experience:
High School Diploma or GED required
At least 6 moths experience related experience.
Possess a valid drivers license.
Highly Preferred: Class A CDL license
Must be willing and able to work after hours oncall rotations nights and weekends as work needs dictate.
Must be willing and able to travel: occasional overnight travel to other work locations may be required and is anticipated. Travel assignments may range from a day or two up to a few weeks.
Must have a complete understanding of the responsibility and dedication the position requires is essential.
