Responsibilities & Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Solution Design & Architecture: Develop highlevel and detailed architectural designs for enterprisewide solutions ensuring they align with business objectives and technical standards.
- Technology Strategy: Provide strategic guidance on technology selection integration and implementation to support digital transformation initiatives.
- Cloud & OnPremise Solutions: Design implement and optimize hybrid cloud and onpremise solutions using modern technologies such as Azure AWS or Google Cloud.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all solutions meet security compliance and regulatory requirements including DoD standards.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with business stakeholders IT teams and developers to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement best practices to enhance system reliability scalability and efficiency.
- Documentation & Standards: Develop technical documentation architectural diagrams and best practice guidelines to maintain consistency and support scalability.
- Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and technical teams.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Secret Clearance (or higher)
- PMP or equivalent certification (e.g. PgMP PMIACP).
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in solution architecture enterprise architecture or a similar role.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in cloud computing enterprise application integration cybersecurity and modern development frameworks.
Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
ProblemSolving: Ability to analyze business and technical challenges and develop innovative scalable solutions.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of AI/ML IoT or blockchain technologies.
Understanding of government or defense sector IT environments.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification: A relevant certification such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or TOGAF certification is preferred.
