Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a GIS Architect you will lead the design and delivery of cuttingedge geospatial solutions for our clients and help shape the development of CGIs own geospatial IP. Youll bring a combination of handson technical ability stakeholder engagement expertise and a deep understanding of geospatial technologies.
Key responsibilities will include:
Designing and developing bespoke geospatial solutions for our clients
Leading the creation of solution design documentation
Engaging with stakeholders and customers throughout design and delivery phases
Capturing and refining both technical and business requirements
Contributing to bid creation and supporting new business opportunities
Leading teams across multiple workstreams including tasking and supporting developers
Driving innovation in CGIs geospatial capability
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Strong experience in geospatial solution design and architecture
Handson software development background with geospatial tools and technologies
Excellent stakeholder and customer engagement skills
Experience producing technical documentation and solution designs
Ability to manage and lead technical teams across delivery streams
Strong understanding of both technical and business requirements
Familiarity with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS QGIS or similar
Experience working within government or public sector environments (desirable)
