We are looking for a Product Manager (m/f/d) to join the product management team of the Bruker CALID Group. Majority of the key stakeholders are located in our factories in Germany and Switzerland.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Roadmap:
- Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Liquid Chromatography (LC) & Mass Spectrometry (MS) instruments and consumables.
- Conduct market research to identify trends customer needs and competitive landscape.
- Define product vision positioning and value propositions in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
Product Development:
- Lead crossfunctional teams including R&D engineering and marketing to develop new products and enhance existing products.
- Ensure products meet market requirements regulatory standards and company quality benchmarks.
- Manage product lifecycle from concept to endoflife including product launches and obsolescence plans.
Market and Customer Engagement:
- Engage with key customers stakeholders and opinion leaders to gather feedback and insights.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop gotomarket strategies and promotional activities.
- Represent the company at industry conferences trade shows and customer meetings.
Performance and Financial Management:
- Set and monitor product performance metrics including sales quality market share and profitability.
- Develop pricing strategies and manage product pricing over the product lifecycle.
- Prepare and manage budgets for product development and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biochemistry Biology Chemical Engineering or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA MS or PhD) is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management preferably in the scientific instruments or analytical chemistry industry.
- Ideally 3 years experience in the analytical life science market
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing technical products.
- Experience with liquid chromatography systems and related hardware is a prerequisite.
