The University of Maine at Augusta invites applications for PartTime Faculty at our Aircraft Maintenance Technician School (AMTS) starting Spring 2025. The successful candidate will have experience with the subject matter in a wide range of aviation topics including fixedwing and rotorcraft.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching and working with students oneonone. The position will be based at UMAs Brunswick Aviation Campus Hangar 6.

Qualifications

Required:

FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certification
Aircraft Maintenance Experience
Teaching Experience

Preferred:

Bachelors degree
FAA Aircraft Inspection Authorization Certificate
Higher Education experience with curriculum writing and teaching

Salary: Salary is commensurate with qualifications and previous college teaching experience in accordance with the PATFA contract.
