Compensation: $90105K annually depending upon experience.
Summary:
We are seeking a detailoriented Data Governance Analystfor an onsite position in Monterey CA. This role will work crossfunctionally to implement and enforce data governance and quality standards manage and maintain the enterprise data catalog perform ongoing data quality assessments and support key data initiatives across the organization.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement data governance frameworks and enforce data quality standards.
- Manage the enterprise data catalog ensuring accuracy accessibility and completeness of metadata.
- Conduct data profiling validation and cleansing activities to ensure data integrity across systems.
- Define monitor and report on data quality metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Support data management initiatives including Master Data Management (MDM) and data lifecycle practices.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of ETL processes for integrating data from multiple sources.
- Analyze datasets using tools such as SQL Excel and Python to identify trends inconsistencies and improvement opportunities.
- Provide subject matter expertise in data governance and quality best practices.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance best practices.
- Strong knowledge of data quality assessment techniques and data cleansing processes.
- Proficient in data profiling and validation methodologies.
- Ability to define and implement data quality metrics and KPIs.
- Proficient in SQL Excel and/or Python for data analysis.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
- Experience supporting or working with ETL processes and data integration workflows.
- CompTIA Security certification demonstrating a commitment to security and compliance standards.
Education/Experience include:
- 4 years of experience in Data Governance and Quality
