Job Description
Summer Groundskeeper
Facilities Department
This is a summer position that will typically assist in the grass cutting during the Summer months June July early August.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Drivers License
- Clean driving record
- Preference to college students and recent graduates of the Mehlville School District
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include the following:
- Safely maintains and ensures the beauty of the grounds including cutting grass controlling weeds trimming landscaping and caring for plants trees and shrubs
- Hauls dirt sand gravel and mulch
- Operates repairs and maintains grounds maintenance equipment and ensures its safety
- Moves heavy objects and equipment
- Prepares athletic fields for sporting events
- Landscaping
- Assisting the Maintenance Technicians
- Painting
- Other duties may be assigned
