Company Overview

Position Overview
As a Research Assistant at Circadia you will be working closely with Circadias research and development team to assist in the development and validation of new medical devices. You will be responsible for:

1. Executing clinical studies to validate Circadias proprietary medical device technology including study preparation planning study logistics recruitment of study participants data collection data analysis and reporting.

2. Testing of new sensors and Circadias proprietary monitoring technology through lab testing and human subject testing. This includes planning and preparation of experiments performing data collection data analysis and reporting.

3. Producing reports and documentation in compliance with Circadias quality management systems and to support Circadias regulatory efforts

4. Analyzing realworld clinical data and testing data including data querying data analysis creating figures for publications and contributing towards scientific publications and white papers.

This is a missioncritical role as you will be responsible for clinical testing and validation of Circadias proprietary contactless patient monitoring technology. Circadias technology currently serves 25k patients every day (growing to 100k in the next 23 years) with new technology being developed continuously.

You will be expected to independently perform data collection at clinical sites and in the lab while solving both practical and technical challenges and maintain a high standard of quality. You will be responsible for recruitment of study participants for which you will need to travel to healthcare facilities. You will also be expected to work with the rest of Circadias research and development team on validation strategy data collection and analysis producing figures for publications and reporting. This role requires a highly organized individual with attention to detail and quality. Previous research experience is required outstanding communication skills and an analytical mindset are essential.

Requirements & Attributes

    • Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering biomedical sciences or other relevant scientific or engineering discipline
    • Prior experience in research preferably involving human subjects
    • Experience in the medical device industry preferred

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

    • This position requires work in office laboratory clinical study site and manufacturing environments. It requires frequent sitting standing and walking. A successful applicant must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. He or she may stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings walking in the facilities and laboratory testing. Must be able to travel both local and domestic so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Drivers license is required.
