Job Description
Our summer internship program provides students with handson professional experience networking opportunities and access to SC&H fun while honing essential skills for early career success. For 10weeks spanning June to August our interns work on diverse client projects and receive guided mentorship in one of our many unique service lines. Our internship is inperson at one of our offices 4x a week with an average work week of 3032 hours.

SC&H Capital is an investment banking and advisory firm to leading middle market companies. We specialize in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) employee stock ownership plans (ESOP) special situations M&A and business valuations. Our team has completed over 800 M&A advisory financing restructuring and ESOP transactions with an aggregate economic value of over $11 billion. Based on our broad experience in executing all types of transactions our independent advice is focused on identifying and executing the best solutions to accomplish our clients goals.
As a member of our Capital team you will:
- Gain exposure to both live deals and pitches
- Support analysts and associates with buyer research and general industry research
- Perform valuations and assist with preparation of pitches
- Participate in a series of teamled training sessions
- Support deal teams with preparation of marketing materials and other presentations
Requirements:
- GPA of 3.2 or above
- Previous successful business experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to produce an outstanding work product or deliverable
- Reliable transportation to our Sparks MD location

Salary & Benefits
The rate for this position is $30 per hour. Salary offers are made based on a variety of candidate specific factors such as candidates skills performance job responsibilities prior relevant experience certain degrees and certifications and market considerations. As a 100 employeeowned firm SC&H offers the unique benefit of real equity ownership for every colleague with at least 1 year of service.
