Job Description
This position will be responsible for utilizing Lucity Computerized Asset Management software for various task. This positionwill be responsible for helping maintain records of the inventory ofequipment and supplies ofthe departments warehouse. This individual will be receiving the shipments as well as verifying the accuracy of the contents of the shipments.This individual will be responsible for pulling orders from inventory and delivering them to the appropriate site.
Essential Duties (the duties may vary depending on location and position)
- Assisting and managing the contracts and ensuring contract compliance
- Assisting with warehouse operations and annual yearend inventory audits
- Coordinating contracted work order requests inspecting and verifying the completion of the contracted work with the field staff
- Delivering mail supplies and fuel to Parks & Recreation facilities
- Assist in preparing pulling and delivering warehouse orders tosuppliers contractors or sites as needed
- Verifies warehouse orders are accurate before loading onto truck
- Recording fuel delivery in our Computerized Asset management program
- Reading and responding to emails
- Conducting quarterly and annual warehouse audits
- Providing customer assistance to include pulling orders
- Tracking and logging gallons of fuel (obtained and dispensed at each park site)
- Assisting coworkers and other departments with wide activities countywide initiatives and special projects such as setting up and taking down for events performing equipment maintenance and other activities as needed
Public Speaking Duties
- Participate in section meetings
- Communicate daily with supervisor peers and contractors
- Communicate with field staff regardingdeliveries andcontracted work
Other Job Requirements/Information
- This job is a safety sensitive position that will require a preemployment drug test and subsequent random drug and alcohol testing
Hourly rate
- Salary will be dependent on education and experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must be 16 years of age
- Valid drivers license REQUIRED
- General experience in customer service and communication skills
- Basic knowledge ofwarehousecontracts and inventory principles
- Basic knowledge ofusing a computer applicable software andgeneral office equipment
- Excellent customer serviceskills
- Strong work ethic and detailed oriented
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
- Ability to obtain forklift certification (within 6 months)
Preferred Qualifications in addition to the above minimum qualifications
- High School / GED AND
- One year of experience requirement
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
