Prudential (UK) in partnership with the HCL group plans to setup a standalone Indian health insurance company to address the growing healthcare needs of the Indian consumer.

This joint venture will combine Prudentials global expertise in insurance and financial services with HCL Groups experience in technology and healthcare solutions.

Prudential with its longstanding presence in India already operates two leading businesses in life insurance and asset management with the ICICI Group. Prudential was also the proud sponsor of the 1983 Cricket World Cup Indias first World Cup Victory!

Prudential Health India is a Zero to One team undertaking a nolegacy greenfield health insurance deployment in India building journeys that truly empathize with the customer and offer a differentiated experience.

To partner with us in this mission we are looking for a dynamic and customerfocused senior professional to lead our Ecommerce and Telesales for the DirecttoConsumer (D2C) channel. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the health insurance market who can drive sales and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up a customer focused telecalling centre and team laser focused on solving for the needs of the customer and maximising lead to issuance conversion rates
  • Understand digital marketing fundamentals and drivers and being able to collaborate with the marketing team to optimise and refine quality of leads generated
  • Have a strong understanding of the market trends and customer needs and collaborate with the product team to create compelling differentiated propositions for the D2C channel
  • Collaborate with marketing product and technology teams to reimagine and continuously optimize the online customer buying journey to build the bestinclass journey in the market
  • Lead mentor motivate inspire engage and manage a team of ecommerce and telesales professionals to go the extra mile display empathy at their core understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Monitor sales performance and leverage data and analytics to implement continuous improvements maximise conversion rates and achieve operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of customer service.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelors degree in business Marketing or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 1215 years of experience in ecommerce and telesales with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and customer engagement in the health insurance sector.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and CRM systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
