We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team in Hemel Hempstead this is an exciting opportunity to be part of and grow within a successful team in a long term role.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assembles fabricated parts components or units at floor stations.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Uses hand tools and power to assemble units according to product specifications Identifies unit that fail tests or tolerance levels repairs a necessary
- Conducts inspection of incoming assemblies/components in accordance with established procedures and technical data.
- Responsible for performing complete operation checkouts modifications disassembly repairs reassembly test calibrations diagnoses and correction of problems.
- Follows repair and return processes to ensure high quality and short cycle time of repair and return.
- Sets up necessary repair and test facilities.
- May be required to complete an apprenticeship or training.
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum of two years previous Mechanical & Assembly work is essential ideally from the Aerospace industry
- Flexible with high attention to detail
