Job Description
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Acute Care
Join a leading healthcare facility in Florida as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse where youll deliver critical care in a fastpaced dynamic environment. As a valued member of our emergency medicine team youll provide lifesaving care while working alongside experienced healthcare professionals in a stateoftheart emergency department.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform rapid patient assessment and triage for diverse emergency cases
- Deliver expert nursing care for critical acute and nonurgent patients
- Implement individualized patient care plans and monitor treatment outcomes
- Manage multiple highacuity cases simultaneously with expert prioritization
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide comprehensive discharge planning and patient education
- Document patient care using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Current Florida RN license or multistate license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Registered Nurse Diploma
- Current BLS certification required at start date
- ACLS and PALS certifications (must obtain within 90 days)
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (must obtain within 90 days)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
