Automotive Dealership Service Greeter/Valet Job Description
126:30pm Monday to Friday
$17$18 / hour
Overview:
The Service Greeter plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for customers visiting the automotive dealerships service department. They are responsible for welcoming customers assessing their needs and ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Greeting: Greet customers promptly and warmly upon arrival making them feel valued and welcome.
- Needs Assessment: Actively listen to customers concerns and determine the nature of their service requests.
- Vehicle Inspection: Conduct a preliminary inspection of the vehicle noting any visible damage or issues.
- Customer Communication: Keep customers informed about service progress
- Problem Resolution: Address customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure the service area is clean organized and wellmaintained.
- Get proper information to service advisors to that they request
- Keep Service lane free of cars and clutter
- Tag Vehicles and park accordingly
- Assist technicians as needed such as delivering parts or retrieving vehicles from the parking lot.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic knowledge of automotive terminology and service procedures.
- Proficiency in using dealership management systems and computer applications.
- Valid drivers license
